Jackson & Perry: a custom-shaped entrance mosaic for a Cape May boutique

A shaped storefront mosaic for Jackson & Perry on Washington Street: gold lettering, hand-cut glass seaside icons and a white circle pattern, cut to fit the doorway and bay window.

Style

Materials
Sintered glass and stainless steel

1The brief

Jackson & Perry wanted a welcome mat that would last outdoors on Washington Street. The shape had to follow the doorway and the bay window exactly, with the shop name and small seaside icons that feel like a summer in Cape May.

2The design

Jackson & Perry sent us their own design with the exact measurements of the entrance. We turned it into mosaic: the name in gold metal across the middle, and around it hand-cut glass icons outlined in gold: a crab, shell, oyster, fish, sailboat, life ring, beach umbrella, lighthouse and a CAPE MAY sign. A white circle pattern fills the background, framed by a single metal border.

3The result

Before shipping, the whole mosaic was laid out in our workshop and checked piece by piece. It arrived on numbered sheets and now greets every shopper at the door.

Case study · Entrance floor · 30A, Florida

Oyster Manor: a gold metal logo mosaic set into a wood floor

The Oyster Manor logo recreated in gold metal on white square tile, then set level into the original wood floor of the entrance on Florida's 30A.

Style

Materials
Porcelain tile and stainless steel

1The brief

Oyster Manor wanted its full logo at the front door: the OYSTER name, the script manor, the oyster shell, EST 2024 and 30A. The mosaic had to fit a set area of the entrance and sit level with the original wood floor around it.

2The design

We turned their logo into a floor mosaic. The line-drawn oyster shell and every letter are cut from gold stainless steel and set into crisp white square tiles. A single gold metal strip frames the panel, with a white tile margin so it meets the wood cleanly.

3The result

The installer cut out a section of the wood floor, laid the numbered mesh sheets into adhesive, then grouted. The finished mosaic sits flush with the floorboards and greets everyone at the door.

Style

Materials

1The brief

Topsail Steamer wanted their logo on the wall customers face while they order: the name, the blue steam pot, EST. 2016 and West Palm Beach. It had to sit comfortably with the shop's white subway tile and warm wood beams.

2The design

We matched the logo colours in tile: coral for the name and turquoise for the pot and the town. The letters are hand-cut so the serifs and curves stay crisp, set on a white square-tile background. A double turquoise stripe frames the panel like a classic seaside shop sign. The client approved the design from our free digital mockup before production began.

3The result

Framed in wood to match the shop's beams, the mosaic hangs right behind the register, so every customer sees it while they order and it shows up in the shop's own photos.

Case study · Food truck · Wall sign

The Whole Shebang: a gold mosaic sign for a pink food truck

1The brief

The Whole Shebang wanted a sign that felt as polished as the rest of the truck's interior: pink subway tile, gold trim and fresh flowers. It had to be the first thing customers see at the counter.

2The design

The client sent us their logo, and we turned it into gold stainless steel: a script The above classic serif capitals, set into a white porcelain fan pattern. A double gold border frames the panel so it reads like a vintage shop sign against the pink tile. The client approved the design from our free digital mockup before production began.

3The result

The finished mosaic arrived on numbered mesh sheets and was installed straight onto the truck wall. The gold border lines up with the gold counter trim.
